    They were FANTASTIC!
    High Quality Musicianship
I felt this was far more than a tribute
… it was performed as an homage to the music of Woodstock,
crafted and performed with the love and joy of that era.
On a side note: The lead singer completely channeled Janis Joplin.

I saw the Largo afternoon show. I felt like I was home……… a lot of the songs I have played in my band years ago – and one was at the Prospect Park Bandshell for “Rock Against Racism” Concert series amoungst many other shows. I was very impressed and “Took that Journey” way back. You guys sounded great!!!

Peace, Love and the Spirit of Giving

Thanks You Woodstock Last weekend, Peace of Woodstock performed a musical tribute to Woodstock to a full house.

While it wasn’t the first time the Center has filled the house for an amazing performance, this event was definitely special.

    What made it so special?

The audience for this show, more than any other in Center history, chose to financially support the Center with donations beyond the ticket price.

Add-on donations for online ticket purchases exceeded past shows by over 500%! And while online ticketing represented the majority of the additional donations, the support also extended to the art gallery auction that was taking place in the lobby before the show (see below). These additional gifts help support the many community focused, arts-based programs that take place at the Center.

Although it is difficult to pinpoint exactly what factors lead to the spike in philanthropic support, we choose to believe that it says something very beautiful about the “Woodstock Generation”!

THANK YOU to all who donated!

I saw your performance at the Palm Pavilion on Friday July 15th, along with my brother that was here from Kentucky, we absolutely loved it. I didn’t sit down one time and danced the night away. Looking forward to catching another performance.
